"台灣的消費者物價漲幅很「溫和」"

根據行政院主計總處（DGBAS）指出，台灣去年的物價漲幅自2009年以來為最低的狀態，而全國消費者物價指數（CPI）增加了0.79%。主計總處副處長蔡鈺泰表示：「消費者物價指數的結果顯示物價漲幅維持溫和。」

報告指出核心消費者物價指數（除去蔬果、能源的物價）比總體通膨少了0.21%，而巴克萊資本的梁偉豪表示：「低核心通膨和良性全球通膨的情形將持續提供央行空間，來支持目前仍在初期階段的台灣經濟復甦。」巴克萊資本也表示其利率接下來六個月將會維持不變。

躉售物價指數（WPI）上個月比去年上升了0.02%，但是跟2012年全年相比下跌了2.43%。

上個月國內的外匯存底從前一個月上升了12.5億美元到4168.1億美元，為一紀錄新高。

According to the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS), Taiwans inflation rate last year was at its lowest rate since 2009 and the national consumer price index (CPI) increased 0.79 percent. DGBAS Deputy-Director Tsai Yu-tai stated, The CPI results indicate that consumer price inflation remains mild and modest.

Reports indicate that the core CPI, which excludes vegetable, fruit and energy prices, was less than the headline inflation rate of 0.21, and Barclays Capital economist Leong Wai Ho stated, Low core inflation and a benign global inflationary backdrop will continue to provide the central bank room to support the ongoing recovery in Taiwan, which remains in its early stages. Barclays Capital also stated that its rates will remain unchanged for the next six months.

The wholesale price index (WPI) rose 0.02 last month from a year earlier, but dropped 2.43 percent from 2012s entire year.

Foreign exchange reserves in the nation rose to a US$416.81 billion last month, a new high up US$1.25 billion from a month earlier.
