"宏碁看好今年景氣"

這幾年虧損嚴重的宏碁，在上週新春團拜時對外表示，國際的景氣正在回溫當中，宏碁今年將抓住機會，努力成長以提高營運效率。

宏碁全球總裁暨執行長陳俊聖表示，為了加強集團與地方客戶的合作關係，他將先飛往歐洲與客戶及員工見面。待宏碁完成全球四大總部的佈署後，就能正式朝營收成長、毛利改善、營運效率提升等方向前進。

至於宏碁於2014年會有什麼樣的突破性策略，宏碁似乎有意以雲端服務做為整體戰略佈局的中心點。至於雲端該提供什麼服務功能，宏碁將先從OEM合作機會著手，以具體提高消費者的黏著度為出發點。

以上的作法是否能挽救宏碁的頹勢，相信在今年第二季結束後，宏碁很快就會有答案。

(Business) Acer Optimistic about This Years Economy

Acer, which has suffered severe losses in recent years, publicly stated last week during its Chinese New Years gathering that the global economy is making a comeback and that the company will seize the opportunity this year and strive for growth in order to increase operational efficiency.

Acers Corporate President and CEO Jason Chen said that the company will strengthen its relationships with corporate groups and local clients and that he will be flying to Europe to meet with clients and staff. Once Acer sets up its four headquarters around the globe, it will be able to officially forge ahead towards profit growth, improved gross margin and greater operational efficiency.

In regard to what type of breakthrough strategies Acer will adopt in 2014, it appears that the company is looking to base its overall strategies on cloud services. As for what kind of cloud services Acer will provide, it will start off with partnership opportunities with OEM, with the enhancement of consumer stickiness being its main focus.

Whether or not the aforementioned strategies will be able to help Acer get back on its feet, it is likely that we will be able to find out right after the second quarter of this year.
