"中國發現了H10N8"

疾病管制署（CDC）已經發布了警告給在中國的旅客，要他們多加留意，因為人類感染H10N8（禽流感的一種）的第二例已經確診。

這第二個案例發現於江西省，跟傳出人類感染此亞型禽流感的第一例發生在同個位置。

疾管署對江西以及其他中國省份像是廣東、浙江、江蘇、福建、湖南和北京市、上海市發布了第二級旅遊警示。香港、澳門和其他中國區域現在都有待「觀察」。在台灣，疾管署公佈從1999年開始收集的25萬份檢體都沒有顯現任何H10N8的例子。

疾管署表示人傳人大幅擴散的風險不高，但是仍需要進一步檢測。對病人的基因分析顯現出H10N8並沒有跟人類流感產生基因重組，這限制了潛在的散播可能性。

疾管署建議旅客格外注意衛生清潔，並建議他們避免跟禽類接觸。

(International) H10N8 Found In China

The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) has issued a warning to travelers in China to take extra precautions as the second case of the avian influenza strain H10N8 infecting a human was confirmed.

The second case was detected in Jiangxi Province, the same place the first case of a human contracting the bird flu subtype was reported.

A second-level travel alert has been issued for Jianxi, as well as other Chinese provinces including Guandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hunan, and the cities of Beijing and Shanghai. Hong Kong, Macau, and the rest of China are now under watch status. In Taiwan, the CDC reported that testing of over 250,000 samples has not shown any cases of H10N8 since 1999.

The CDC has stated that there is little risk of widespread human-to-human transmission, but further testing will be done. Genetic analysis of the patient indicated that no genetic recombination with human flu viruses has occurred, which limits the potential spread.

Travelers are asked to take extra precaution in terms of hygiene and sanitization, and to avoid coming into contact with fowl.
