"台塑集團員工獲豐厚年終"

台塑集團行政主管侯水文最近宣布他們今年將會給員工高額獎金，等同於四個月的薪水。

台塑集團（FMG’s）的四大子公司──台灣塑膠工業、台塑石化、南亞塑膠和台灣化纖都對比去年成長了25%到26.87%之間的營收有貢獻。

台塑集團的總經理林健男計畫於明年拓展到中國寧波，並增加化學生產，而該公司位於福建省的鋼鐵廠也將於五月開始全面運轉。

台塑石化總經理曹明據報表示他對下一季很樂觀，並且中國對乙烯、丙烯和丁二烯的需求強勁。非洲、中東和印尼對石油的需求也維持強勁。

台灣化纖的總經理洪福源也對明年中美的經濟景況表示樂觀，而南亞塑膠的董事長吳嘉昭則說下一季乙二醇的生產量和價格有可能會比本季高。

(Business) Formosa Plastics Employees To Get Big Rewards

Formosa Plastics Groups administration director Ho Shui-wen recently announced the news that they will be giving employees large bonuses equal to about four months salary this year.

Formosa Plastics Groups (FMGs) four main units V Formosa Plastics Corp, Formosa Petrochemical Corp, Nan Ya Plastics Corp and Formosa Chemicals Fibre Corp V all contributed to an increase in profit growth from last year between 25 percent and 26.87 percent.

Jason Lin, Formosa Plastics Corp president, has plans to expand in Ningbo, China, next year and increase chemical production, and the companys steel plant in Fujian Province will also start operating at full capacity in May.

Formosa Petrochemical president Tsao Mihn is reported as having said he is optimistic about the next quarter and demand for ethylene, propene and butadiene are strong in China. Demand for oil in Africa, the Middle East and Indonesia are also remaining strong.

Formosa Chemical Fibre president Hong Fu-yuan has also stated optimism about next years economic conditions in China and the US, and Nan Ya chairman Wu Chia-Chau said the production volume and price of ethylene glycol next quarter are likely to be higher than this quarter.
