台灣近來最熱門的電視劇是哪齣？沒錯！就是蘭陵王。

蘭陵王是部令人耳目一新的中國古裝劇。由馮紹峰、林依晨和陳曉東主演，這部電視劇講述了一個女孩被捲入中原兩國之間的戰爭，因她對其中一國軍事將領的愛和預言說勝利將會落在有她祝福的那國。

在蘭陵王撥出的那一個月，收視率居高不下，最後一集在台灣吸引了大約158萬人次收看。這部戲劇如此成功，應歸功於劇情充滿了轉折、高潮迭起，還有男帥女美的演員。

雖然蘭陵王成功在國內和海外的版權賣了超過五千萬新台幣，製作成本其實高達四億新台幣。光打造女主角生長的那個小村就斥資了八百萬新台幣。幸好，這部劇的人氣一飛沖天，預期製作成本應很快就能回收。

What is the hottest drama in Taiwan these days? You guessed it! Its Lan Ling Wang.

Lan Ling Wang, or Prince of Lan Ling, is a refreshing take on typical Chinese period dramas. Starring William Feng, Ariel Lin and Daniel Chan, the drama tells the story of a girl who is caught up in a war between two Chinese states due to her love for the military general of one of the states and the prophecy that victory will go to whoever has her blessing.

During Lan Ling Wangs one-month period on the air, the ratings remained consistently high, with the last episode attracting an approximate 1.58 million viewers across Taiwan. The dramas immense success can be attributed to a plot that is chock-full of twists and cliffhangers, as well as the good-looking cast.

Although Lan Ling Wang managed to rake in over NT$50 million from the sale of domestic and overseas broadcasting rights, the production costs actually amounted to NT$400 million. Just the village in which the main female character grew up cost NT$8 million to create. Fortunately, with the dramas skyrocketing popularity, it is expected that the production costs will be recovered in no time.
