"HTC設計者以詐欺和竊取機密之嫌遭羈押"

一個HTC的高階設計師團隊由於詐欺和竊取商業機密的指控而已經被逮捕。

台灣地檢署正在調查三個HTC設計師盜取商業機密並且詐騙了該公司上千萬的指控。這三名嫌犯被控竊取將用在HTC的新Sense 6.0智慧型手機系列中的重要介面技術賣給中國企業，並於中台兩地設立自己的智慧型手機設計公司。據稱這些人還跟一間製造商共謀偽造發票，而從HTC領了超過一千萬台幣的設計費用。

作出指控後，調查人員已經搜查了HTC的研發中心，也查了嫌犯的辦公室和住家。他們的手機和筆電都已經被扣押，因為三人有可能曾透過電子郵件傳送商業機密，或是將機密儲存在電子裝置中。

對此事件回應，HTC在聲明中表示：「HTC不會寬恕任何違例行為。由於相關機構正在調查此事，我們不作近一步的回應。」

(Technology) HTC Designers Detained on Suspicion of Fraud and Secrets Theft

A team of senior designers at HTC have been arrested on allegations of fraud and trade secret theft.

Taiwanese prosecutors are probing into allegations that three designers at HTC stole trade secrets and defrauded the company of millions of dollars. The three suspects were accused of stealing key interface technology, which is to be used in the companys new Sense 6.0 smartphones, to sell to Chinese firms and setting up their own smartphone design companies in both Taiwan and China. The men also allegedly claimed over NT$10 million in design fees from HTC through conspiring with a manufacturer to issue falsified invoices.

Since the allegations were made, investigators have searched HTCs research and development center as well as the suspects offices and homes. Their phones and laptops have also been seized for the three may have transferred business secrets via email or stored them in electronic devices.

In response to the incident, HTC said in a statement, The company does not condone any violation. As this matter is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities, we therefore refrain from further comments.
