Rumors about the upcoming movie are growing, and fans are desperate for news of the story.

It was reported last week that J. J. Abrams will direct the latest installment in the Star Wars trilogy. Star Wars: Episode VII will be the first movie to be made in the series since the franchise was sold to Disney and will pick up the story after Episode VI V Return of the Jedi.

Although an official announcement had not been made, fans still took to twitter and the Internet to express their surprise and, in some cases, disgust at the news. Abrams is the director of the recent Star Trek movies, and the two science fiction series are seen by hardcore fans as rivals.
