Life just keeps getting better for Ashton Kutcher. Not only is he dating Esquire magazines sexiest woman in the world Mila Kunis, but hes also just taken the crown of US TVs highest paid star. The funnyman took over the lead role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men last year, and hes earning a reported US$24 million a year for the part.

The hit show used to star Charlie Sheen until he was fired last year for hitting out at producer Chuck Lorre. Sheen is back on TV in a show called Anger Management, but hes earning only a fraction of the $40 million a year he was collecting while starring in Two and a Half Men.

Other big names in the list, which was compiled by Forbes, are Hugh Laurie, who collected $18 million for his part in House, and Patrick Demsey, whos getting an estimated $12 million a year for his ongoing work in Greys Anatomy. No one can compare with Kutcher, though; hes the new king of TV.
