"上海剩女自認結婚難"

「剩男」、「剩女」是指到了適婚年齡或已超過婚齡的單身男女。上海報導引述婚戀網站所發表的「剩女自白書」披露許多剩女的心聲。許多女性表示從26歲開始，覺得自己是剩女的感覺就越來越強，但隨著年齡增長卻成了習慣而不介意了。

這項調查共有8.5萬人參加，而上海的剩女則堪稱中國最寂寞。對於「您認為找到理想結婚對象的難度有多大」這個問題，上海剩女表示「比較難」和「非常難」的比例為38%，和天津、吉林等地並列大陸之首。

84%的剩女擁有大學及以上學歷，其中大學學歷佔36%，碩士及以上則佔48%。而成為「剩女」的原因，主要是因為「缺少認識異性的途徑」、「消極等待」以及「愛情理想主義」。許多男性都認為她們「眼光過高」、「總以為有更好的」，而且「完美主義」。

In response to the question how hard do you think it is to find an ideal person for marriage, a total of 38% of leftover women in Shanghai say it is harder and very hard", being the highest in China along with cities such as Tianjin and Jilin.

Around 84% of the leftover women have college degrees or above, and those with college education accounted for 36%, while those with a Masters or above accounted for 48%. The reason they have become leftover women is because they do not have many ways of meeting men, they wait passively, and they are idealistic about love. Many men believe they are picky, "always feel they can do better, and are perfectionists.
