(Sport) Miami Overrun Dallas

The Heat make up for last years Finals loss.

The NBA season finally started on Christmas Day, and while fans all over the country were eager to see their favorite team, the days standout game was definitely Miami vs. Dallas. A few months ago, Dallas defeated Miami in the NBA Finals, but they werent able to beat them on Sunday. Instead, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade ran riot, leading Miami to a 105-94 victory.

In truth, the score makes the game seem a lot closer than it actually was. At one point in the third quarter, Miami were up by 35 points, and the Heats big guns were playing for fun. James finished with 37 points and 10 rebounds, while Wade collected 26 points and eight rebounds.

After the game, James said: We're a focused team. We had a great training camp. We came in with the same mindset we had at practice, used our speed and played with mental focus. Wade added: We had a game plan and implemented it. We came out and played a good game. The Heats game plan should worry the entire NBA this season.
