中央流行疫情指揮中心今(7)日公布國內新增22,044例COVID-19確定病例，分別為21,771例本土個案及273例境外移入；另確診個案中新增42例死亡。MIS一C僅一位5歲以下女童，無打疫苗也無慢性病。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之21,771例本土病例，為9,942例男性，11,824例女性，5例調查中；年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上；個案分布為新北市(4,040例)，臺中市(2,675例)，桃園市(2,343例)，臺北市(2,328例)，高雄市(1,968例)，臺南市(1,707例)，彰化縣(1,006例)，新竹縣(679例)，苗栗縣(635例)，屏東縣(626例)，新竹市(537例)，雲林縣(487例)，宜蘭縣(446例)，南投縣(394例)，嘉義縣(383例)，花蓮縣(379例)，基隆市(362例)，臺東縣(233例)，嘉義市(226例)，澎湖縣(176例)，金門縣(138例)，連江縣(3例)。
指揮中心指出，今日新增42例本土病例死亡個案，為24例男性、18例女性，年齡介於40多歲至90多歲以上，皆屬重度感染個案且皆具慢性病史，其中25例未接種3劑COVID-19疫苗。確診日介於今(2022)年5月11日至8月4日，死亡日期介於5月26日至8月4。
指揮中心說明，今日新增273例境外移入個案中，為157例男性，116例女性；年齡介於未滿5歲至70多歲，分別自日本(5例)、越南及泰國(各4例)、菲律賓、英國及新加坡(各3例)、澳大利亞、土耳其、韓國及美國(各2例)、馬來西亞、柬埔寨、阿拉伯聯合大公國、紐西蘭、印度、愛爾蘭及德國(各1例)移入，另236例感染國家調查中。入境日期介於今年7月7日至8月6日。(圖CDC提供)
