"戀愛知多少"

前陣子台北市衛生局針對青少年進行調查發現，有近五成的家長，並不知道自己的孩子曾經談過戀愛。由於這份調查報告共有五萬多名國小、國中、高中參加，調查結果讓許多父母感到擔心與驚訝。

華人對感情的表達往往過於保守。許多人談戀愛都是靠自己摸索來累積經驗。如果父母或師長疏於關心青少年的交友情況，也未給予感情上正確的觀念與指導，青少年則很容易發展出偏差的價值觀。

戀愛是美好的事物，但這其中應包含兩性平等、性教育、情緒管理等正確觀念的建立。父母有機會應多關心小孩的交友情況，多花一些時間分享他們的在校生活，讓孩子願意敞開心胸與父母交流，如此才能健全孩子的身心發展。

A recent survey of teenagers by Taipei City government, Department of Health, found that nearly fifty percent of the parents do not know that their children have been in a relationship. The findings have come as a surprise to many parents and made them worry for more than 50,000 people were surveyed, with the respondents ranging from elementary school students to junior high and high school students.

Chinese people tend to be too conservative when it comes to expressing their feelings. Many people accumulate experiences by exploring the world of dating alone. If parents and teachers do not keep an eye on teenagers relationships with others or teach them the right attitude towards relationships, they can easily acquire values that promote deviant behavior.

It is wonderful to be in love, but relationships should involve the establishment of the right attitudes regarding matters such as gender equality, sex education and emotional management. Parents should pay more attention to their childrens relationships with others and spend more time sharing their school stories with them so that their children will be willing to open up to them and undergo proper physical and mental development.
