"衛福部疾管署警告旅客海外傳染病爆發"

衛福部疾管署（CDC）最近警告了打算農曆新年要去旅遊的旅客，最近數個國家面臨了疾病爆發。

流感在中國、香港和北美爆發；南韓和日本也傳出爆發諾羅病毒；而東南亞的登革熱和麻疹疫情也被報導為對旅客健康的潛在威脅。

從去年秋天開始，中國和香港總計有68人感染了H7N9禽流感。疾管署副署長周志浩表示目前有八人因此死亡。

新加坡登革熱的案例是去年同個時間的2.7倍，比五年下來的平均值高出4.9倍，而光是從今年開始的案例，菲律賓就傳出了760個麻疹的案例。

到日本和南韓的旅客也被警告了諾羅病毒的爆發並被提醒要將水煮沸、徹底洗乾淨手並且避免生食以避開病毒並且維持健康。

(Local) Travelers Warned By CDC About Overseas Outbreaks

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recently warned travelers who plan to take upcoming trips for the Lunar New Year that several countries have faced outbreaks of disease recently.

Influenza outbreaks in China, Hong Kong and North America, as well as norovirus in South Korea and Japan, and dengue fever and measles in Southeast Asia have all been reported as potential threats to travelers health.

Beginning in autumn of last year, a total of 68 people have been infected with the H7N9 strain of avian influenza in China and Hong Kong. Deputy-Director general Chou Jih-haw stated that there have been eight deaths as a result.

Singapore has seen 2.7 times as many cases of dengue fever than the same time last year, which is 4.9 times the five year average, and the Philippines has reported 760 cases of measles since the start of this year alone.

Travelers to Japan and South Korea have also been warned of norovirus outbreaks and reminded to boil water, wash hands thoroughly, and avoid raw food in order to avoid the virus and maintain good health.
