"觸感螢幕即將成真？"

觸感或稱「haptic」裝置的出現讓許多人揣測：使用者將能在十年內在手機上感受到鍵盤，和不同螢幕上的圖示以及更多更多。

華特迪士尼最近宣布他們的研究小組已經發展出能夠讓使用者在觸控螢幕感受到不同觸感的科技。迪士尼互動集團首席研究科學家告訴CNN，在未來，人們將能夠「觸碰在行動裝置、平板電腦、筆電、桌面和牆壁上的螢幕。未來所有東西都將能用觸控，而我們需要觸感反饋來讓觸控更有用且可用」。

部分裝置現在使用了空氣的超音波震動和脈衝波，在空氣中提供了觸感體驗。裝置像是Xbox Kinect現在就使用此種科技，讓使用者感覺彷如他們能夠觸碰到眼前空氣中的物品。英國布里斯托爾大學學生正在著手的計畫UltraHaptics使用了「超音波轉換器」──模擬音波來模擬觸感並產生不同膚觸。

(Technology) Tactile Touch Screens Soon To Be A Reality?

The emergence of tactile or haptic devices has many speculating that within a decade users will be able to feel keypads on phones, icons on screens and much, much more.

Walt Disney Company recently announced that their research wing has developed technology that allows users to feel textures on a touchscreen. The Principal Research Scientist at Disneys Interaction Group told CNN that in the future people will be able to, touch screens on mobile devices, tablets, laptops, tables and walls. Everything will be touch-sensitive in the future and we need tactile feedback to make it more useful and usable.

Ultrasound vibrations and pulses of air are currently used in some devices, providing tactile experiences in free air. Devices like the Xbox Kinect currently employ this technology, making users feel as though they can touch objects in front of them in the air. UltraHaptics, a project being worked on by students at the University of Bristol in England, uses ultrasonic transducers V which mimic sound waves to simulate touch and produce different skin sensations.
