"中國的新手機通訊應用程式"

中國電信和中國的網路公司網易正推出一個新的手機應用程式──易信。目前中國電信是該國國內最大的固網營運商，同時是第三大的行動服務供應商。

中國電信持有易信大部分股份的73%，而這兩間公司打算要打入這有利可圖的行動網路產業。

他們主要的對手是騰訊控股有限公司的微信應用程式。而微信和易信的差別是易信將能讓用戶免費寄送文字訊息和語音訊息給所有人，不只能寄給此應用程式的用戶；反之，微信則只限於用戶。易信也將會提供基本功能，像是即按即通語音訊息和照片分享。

根據中國電信的總經理楊杰所說，易信擁有「……跟對手相比有先天優勢，並且能夠提供與眾不同的服務。」

微信已經表明自己擁有每月超過2.36億的活躍用戶。易信短期的目標是在六個月以內取得每月一億登記用戶，並且達到超過5000萬活躍用戶的目標。

浙江翼信科技的張政說：「我們希望易信能夠取得中國超過半數以上的手機通訊市場。」

(Local) New Mobile Chat App in China

China Telecom and Chinese internet company Netease Inc. are launching a new mobile phone app called Yixin. Currently, China Telecom is the nations biggest fixed line network operator and third-largest mobile service provider.

China Telecom holds the majority stake in Yixin, 73%, and the two companies are looking to enter the lucrative mobile internet sector.

Their main rival is Tencent Holding Ltd.s WeChat app. The main difference between Yixin and WeChat, however, is that Yixin will allow users to send free texts and voice messages to anyone, not only members of its app, whereas WeChat is limited to subscribers only. Yixin will also offer standard options such as push-to-talk voice messages and photo sharing.

According to Yang Jie, General Manager of China Telecom, Yixin has ...natural advantages over rivals in the first place and can offer differential services.

WeChat has stated it has over 236 million monthly active users. Yixins short-term goal is to acquire 100 million registered users within six months, and achieve an active base of more than 50 million.

Zhang Zheng, the general manager of Zhejiang Yixin Technology, stated, We hope Yixin can acquire more than half of the mobile messaging market in China.
