On top of being a best-selling author and starring in one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, the actress has also received the honor of the most beautiful woman on earth.

While the media turns its attention to the debut of the long anticipated action movie Iron Man 3, People magazine has named Paltrow the Worlds Most Beautiful Woman for 2013. Other stars to make it to the list include Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and Drew Barrymore. Beyonce was last years winner and at the time, she said, I feel more beautiful than Ive ever felt because Ive given birth.

When Paltrow was asked how she felt about the award during the premiere of Iron Man 3, the actress said she was in complete disbelief when her publicist told her about it and that she thought it was a joke. Nevertheless, the 40-year-old star was keen to prove to her doubters that she deserved the title. She donned a rather see-through dress at the premiere, showing off her perfectly sculpted figure. As for the secret to her stunning appearance, Paltrow attributed her good looks to her workout routine.
