"成大研發察言觀色機器人"

成大結合先進科技與人文關懷，研發懂得察言觀色的「吉利機器人」。吉利機器人與主人對話後，如果發現主人心情低落，會唱歌或提供卡拉OK服務討主人歡心。如果發現主人身體不適，也會立即與特約醫師連線診斷。另一款「快樂偵察機」程式，如果偵測到主人心情不好，會提供笑話、音樂或影片搏君一笑。成大教授表示，未來希望開發機器人做家事的功能，並提供客製化的居家安全照護。

(Local)National Cheng Kung University Develops Emotion-Reading Robots

National Cheng Kung University combined advanced technology with humanity and developed a Geely Robot that knows how to read emotions. After having a conversation with its owner, if the Geely robot finds that its owner is in a bad mood, it will sing or provide karaoke services to cheer the owner up. If it discovers that its owner is not feeling well, it will immediately go online to get a diagnosis from a special doctor. There's another program called Happy Machine, where if the owner is detected to be in a bad mood, the robot will provide jokes, music, or videos to make its owner laugh. The professors at National Cheng Kung University hope to develop robots that can do housework and provide customized home care in the future.

July: Do you know what orange technology is?

Andy: No, I have only heard of green technology.

July: Well, green technology is pursuing environmental protection while orange technology is pursuing psychological preservation, in the hopes that technology can bring happiness to all human beings!

Andy: Oh, is it like the robots created by National Cheng Kung University that can read emotions?

July: Yes. Actually, the concept of orange technology was first proposed by National Cheng Kung University! They even consider orange and green technology as their greatest mission!

Andy: But why orange? Green is related to the environment but what does orange represent?

July: Well, they believe orange is related to warmth and represents humanity.

Andy: Indeed! Humanized technology is definitely a future development trend!
