"玩家對網咖死者視而不見"

一名二十三歲男子連續打怪十個小時之後死在台北的一家網咖裡。警方對於其他人對這名年輕男子死亡的漠然態度感到憂心。

陳榮宥在北桃園有線電視公司擔任工程師。他包台23小時玩「魔獸世界」，但在玩了10個小時之後身亡。

陳男時常來這家網咖。他坐在第一排靠轉角的位置。他玩「魔獸世界」十個小時之後開始垂著頭。

網咖的老闆以為陳男睡著了，所以並不為他擔心。當網咖老闆過去要告訴陳男他的23小時包台結束時，他看到陳男面色已黑且肢體僵硬。

網咖裡面大多數的玩家繼續打電玩，而且似乎不擔心有死人。警察不確定死因為何。他們認為應該是器官衰竭。

(Local)Gamers Ignore Dead Man in Internet Cafe

A 23-year-old man died in an internet cafe in Taipei after playing computer games for 10 hours without stopping. The police were upset by the other peoples disinterest in the death of the young man.

Chen Jung-yu worked at Northern Taoyuan Cable TV as an engineer. He paid to play World of Warcraft for 23 hours but died after playing for 10 hours.

Chen came to that internet cafe often. He sat down in the corner seat in the first row. Chen played World of Warcraft for 10 hours and then his head started to droop.

The owner of the cafe thought that Chen had just fallen asleep and did not worry about him. When the cafe owner came to tell Chen that his 23 hours were over, he saw that Chens face was black and his body was stiff.

Most of the other players in the cafe carried on gaming and did not seem to worry about the dead man. Police are not sure what the cause of death was. They think it might have been organ failure.
