Mark:
Mark:

Live life to the fullest, because each one may be your last.Every day has the potential to be special, so enjoy the little things as well as the big things.Something as small as tasting your favorite fresh coffee in a quiet cafe can be as great a motivation to fighting on as a visit from a long-lost friend.
Dialogue Example:
(Life Lessons)Caroline and Mark are cousins. Caroline has been fighting breast cancer. Let's listen to their conversation.
Mark: Hi, Caroline! How are you feeling today
Caroline: Hi, Mark! I've been doing much better lately. The doctor said my immune system is up, and the tumors are shrinking.
Mark: That's fantastic! This has been quite a scary journey, huh
Caroline: Oh, absolutely. But in a way, I'm happy, because I've learned so much from it.
Mark: Really? Like what
Caroline: Well, I'm taking things one day at a time. It's really helped me relax and not stress about what I have to deal with next week, or next month. I'm also appreciating every single moment of the day, because, for a while, I didn't know how many days I had left.
Mark: Wow, that's really amazing. Many of us could use that kind of outlook. What else have you learned
Caroline: I've learned about what it really means to love those who are close to you, and to let them know it. And, most importantly, I've learned that I need to take care of myself first, no matter what, before anyone or anything else. Because, otherwise, I won't go on as long as I could if I took care of my own needs.
