"拓荒者絕殺火箭"

火箭在季後賽第一輪第六場比賽的最後0.9秒，好不容易超前兩分，卻遭到拓荒者控衛里拉德以一記絕殺三分球，粉碎了火箭隊想把戰場拉回主場的美夢，也終止了火箭晉級的最後希望。

第五戰火箭在林書豪的好表現下，總算追成兩勝三敗。第六戰的火箭在非贏不可的壓力下，全場比賽雙方可說是卯盡全力。第一、二、三節雙方分數你來我往，互不相讓，兩隊比分始終維持在5分以內。

第四節雙方拼戰到剩下最後4秒，火箭哈登出手不進，卻意外讓帕森斯補進，火箭以98：96領先拓荒者。比賽只剩下最後0.9秒時，輪到拓荒者從外場發球，里拉德接下尼古拉巴通姆的球後立即轉身跳投。火箭就在這顆完美的三分球下慘遭淘汰。

(Sport) Blazers Defeat Rockets with Buzzer-Beater

Even though the Houston Rockets had a two-point lead over the Portland Trail Blazers 0.9 seconds before Game 6 of the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs ended, Blazers point guard Damian Lillards buzzer-beating 3-pointer shattered their dream of bringing the games back to Houston to enjoy home-court advantage and advancing to the next round.

Thanks to Jeremy Lins impressive play, the Rockets were able to bring their tally to 2 wins and 3 losses after Game 5. Facing win-or-go-home pressure in Game 6, both the Rockets and Blazers played their hearts out. All throughout the first, second and third quarter, the scores remained very close, with the margin kept within 5 points.

The two teams continued to battle hard in the fourth quarter. With only 4 seconds left in the game, Rockets player Chandler Parsons surprised everyone by putting in the rebound of a Harden miss, giving the Rockets a 98-96 lead. However, 0.9 seconds before the buzzer, Lillard caught the inbounds pass from Nicolas Batum and made a turnaround jumper. The perfect 3-pointer ended up eliminating the Rockets from the playoffs.
