"鴻海高層索賄"

宏達電的內賊案還沒落幕，輪到鴻海出現了內賊！不過這次並不是把公司內部的機密文件資料洩露給對手，而是鴻海的內部同仁集體向廠商索賄。

日前鴻海集團行政總經理兼商務長李金明接到合作廠商的密告，指控鴻海旗下的SMT（Surface Mount Technology）技術委員會高層，長期向供應商索賄以獲得訂單。廠商檢舉函並隨附可疑的帳冊資料以支持他們的指控。鴻海董事長郭台銘在了解全案後，指示李金明調查相關狀況，並整理相關帳冊及舉證內容，同時向兩岸的警方報案。

日前台北地檢署以背信罪嫌，大規模搜索涉嫌經理人的住處及相關廠商的公司等共計19處。經了解，這些經理人向供應廠商索取了上億的回扣。鴻海董事長郭台銘痛心的表示，未來鴻海的內部稽核將會更加嚴格，以避免類似的問題再次發生。

(Business) Former Hon Hai Executives Investigated for Bribery

While the probe into the inside crime at HTC Corporation is still in progress, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co has also become the subject of a bribery probe! However, unlike HTC employees, who have been indicted for leaking trade-secrets to a rival company, a group of former employees of Hon Hai have allegedly taken bribes from suppliers.

Hon Hai Group General Manager and Chief Commerce Officer James Lee recently received a tip-off from its suppliers, who claimed that former executives of a technical committee under Hon Hais affiliated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) had been soliciting and accepting kickbacks from suppliers on a long term basis in exchange for purchases of their goods. The informers also attached suspicious accounting records to support their accusations. After learning about the situation, group chairman Terry Gou instructed Lee to launch an investigation, gather related accounting records and evidence, and also report the situation to the police in both Taiwan and China.

The Taipei District Prosecutors Office recently carried out a large-scale search on charges of breach of trust, raiding 19 locations, including residences of the managers under suspicion and offices of the suppliers involved in the case. It is believed that the managers pocketed hundreds of millions of dollars in kickbacks from suppliers. Commenting on the incident, Guo said in a devastating manner that Hon Hai will be tightening its internal controls in order to prevent similar problems from happening again.
