"經濟部表示鋼鐵業受損"

最近政府的報告指出進口不鏽鋼冷軋鋼品操控價格，因而對台灣的鋼鐵業造成傷害。

經濟部（MOEA）為超過一年的操控價格調查做出結論，此調查跟中韓鋼鐵製廠的反傾銷案有關。始於2012年七月，燁聯鋼鐵公司和唐榮鐵工廠提出控訴，稱說產品非法傾銷進台灣市場，導致本土產業受害。

多種工業產品都會使用不鏽鋼冷軋鋼品，範圍從航空業、運輸工具和機器零件涵蓋到汽車和電器用品，因此參與了製造這些產品的公司的潛在損失是地方經濟的嚴重問題。

經濟部表示一項初步調查發現中國的光硬化樹脂板並未對台灣企業的原料造成損害，因為當時此種產品並沒有在當地輸出。然而，中國用於廣告出版品的熱感板可能在交易產品時非法傾銷了。

經濟部將會把調查結果交給財政部，然後他們將會決定要不要向進口商課反傾銷稅。

(Business) MOEA Reports Harm to Steel Industry

A recent governmental report indicated that imports of cold-rolled stainless steel products have had their prices manipulated, causing harm to Taiwans steel industry as a result.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) concluded a more than one-year-long investigation into price manipulation in an anti-dumping case involving China and South Korea steelmakers. Beginning July 2012, Yieh United Steel Corp and Tang Eng Iron Works Corp filed a complaint alleging that products were being illegally dumped into the Taiwanese market causing harm to local industry.

Cold-rolled stainless steel products are used in a variety of manufacturing products, ranging from aeronautics, vehicles and machinery to cars and appliances, therefore potential losses to businesses involved in their production are a serious issue to the local economy.

The MOEA stated that a preliminary probe found that photopolymer plates from China did not cause material injury to Taiwanese businesses as there was no local output of such products at the time. However, thermal plates from China, used for printing commercial publications, might have been illegally dumped while products were trading.

The results of the probe will be handed over by the MOEA to the finance ministry, who will then decide which course of action to take regarding anti-dumping duties for importers.
