"黃世銘第二次躲過彈劾危機"

檢察總長黃世銘再次躲過彈劾危機，由於監察院沒能就他在「九月政爭」事件中扮演的角色而彈劾他。這是第二次正反票數打平，黃世銘可以鬆一口氣，因為法律規定彈劾案不能夠以同種名義發起第三次。

監察小組委員洪德旋和吳豐山提交動議。依規定，彈劾需要多數投票通過，票數打平的話提案就會被飭回。12名監察院委員在彈劾會議中的投票結果為六比六，去年11月28日的提案則是以五比五被否決。

據稱黃世銘向馬英九總統簡要說明一項特偵組的調查時，洩漏了調查的機密資訊。該項調查涉及王金平不當關說的指控。

民進黨立委吳宜臻形容此投票結果令人意外，並批評監察院，說：「反對彈劾就等同於黃世銘的共犯。我們也乾脆解散監察院算了。」

黃世銘的任期剩下三個月，他將繼續保有職位。

(Politics) Huang Shih-ming Escapes Impeachment For Second Time

Prosecutor General Huang Shih-ming avoided impeachment yet again as the Control Yuan failed to impeach him for his role in the September strife incident. Now that there has been a second tie vote, Huang Shih-ming can rest easy, as the law stipulates that an impeachment notice on the same charges cannot be initiated again.

Committee probe members Hung Te-hsuan and Wu Feng-shan submitted the motion. Regulations require an impeachment vote be a majority, with a tie equaling a defeat of the motion. 12 Control Yuan voted 6-6 in the impeachment meeting, after last years November 28th motion was voted down 5-5.

Huang allegedly leaked classified information regarding an investigation by briefing President Ma Ying-jeou about a Special Investigation Division (SID) probe. The probe involved allegations of improper lobbying by Wang Jin-pyng.

DPP Legislator Wu Yi Chen described the vote as unexpected and criticized the Control Yuan, stating, Vetoing the motion is tantamount to being an accomplice to Huang. We may as well dissolve the Control Yuan.

Huang will remain in his position for the remaining three months of his term.
