"台灣藥廠投資美金一百萬至培力集團"

本地藥商健亞生物科技說他們計畫投資一百萬美金以購買中國第四大的草本藥廠培力集團1.42%的股份。資金將用來「共同開發主打治療中樞神經系統和新陳代謝失調的植物藥品」。

根據健亞的代理發言人林惠玲所說：「雖然健亞沒有開發植物藥品的經驗，但公司能夠提供新陳代謝失調方面的專業，像是痛風和糖尿病還有中樞神經系統疾病。」

植物藥品業正在蓬勃發展，預期每年會有兩位數百分比的成長。培力彙整的資料顯示去年他們藥品的市場價值有2500億人民幣（美金410億），占了中國藥品市場的25%。

根據第一金投顧指出，預測健亞今年的營收將成長19.91%，價值4.2億新台幣以及5954萬新台幣的利潤。健亞的股價最近漲了3.77%到45.45新台幣。

(Business) Local Drug Firm To Invest US$1 Million in PuraPharm Corp

A local drug producer, Genovate Biotechnology Co, said it plans to invest US$1 million dollars in order to purchase a 1.42 percent stake in China-based PuraPharm, the fourth largest botanical drug manufacturer in China. The money will be used to co-develop botanic drugs aimed at curing central nervous system and metabolic disorders.

According to Ann Lin, Genovate deputy spokesperson, Although Genovate does not have experience in developing botanical drugs, the company can offer its expertise in metabolic disorders, such as gout and diabetes, and central nervous system diseases.

Botanic drugs are a growing industry, with growth expected to grow by double-digits percentages every year. Data compiled by PuraPharm shows that the market value of their drugs was 250 billion yuan (US$41 billion) last year, 25 percent of Chinas drug market.

According to First Capital Management, Genovate is forecast to report 19.91 percent revenue growth this year, with a value of NT$420 million and profit of NT$59.54 million. Shares in Genovate rose 3.77 percent recently to NT$45.45.
