"10月漲電價"

下個月台電即將漲電價，許多企業擔心會對台灣經濟造成衝擊。過去這幾年台灣經濟一直沒有好轉，如果台電電價再漲上去，1/4的企業恐怕都得關門。

除了製造業喊苦外，像物流業、零售通路業也很無奈。因為電價上漲，也會間接刺激油價上漲，現在汽油已經很貴了，物流業利潤已壓縮的很嚴重。另一方面，現在民眾都不願意花錢，零售通路的業績盪到谷底，電價如果再漲，會讓很多店家都做不下去。

希望政府能夠多聽聽民眾與業者的聲音，從台電成本檢討開始做起，一味地漲電價，只會讓民心越離越遠。

(Business) Electricity Price Hikes Begin in October

The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is set to increase the prices of electricity from next month and many companies are worried about how it will impact Taiwans economy. Taiwans economy has been struggling to improve over the past few years, and if Taipower raises the electricity prices again, a quarter of businesses may have to shut down.

Apart from complaints from the manufacturing industry, companies in industries like logistics and retail have also voiced their frustrations. This is because the price hikes will indirectly push gas prices up, and with current gas prices being so high, the logistics industrys profits have already suffered severely. What is more, people nowadays are reluctant to spend money, causing sales at retailers to hit rock bottom. If electricity prices are increased again, many businesses will have trouble continuing operations.

It is hoped that the government can listen to the voices of the people and businesses more, starting with a review of Taipowers costs. Raising the prices of electricity repeatedly will only drive the people further away.
