根據1111人力銀行最近的調查，有興趣接家教的人一個月平均接2.66個家教，額外賺了11492新台幣。至於吸引他們做此行業的要素，第一名為工時有彈性，接著是對教學有興趣和較高的薪水。

1111人力銀行公關總監李大華指出大多家教工作都跟學術科目相關。家長通常雇用家教來協助孩子加強較弱的科目，讓他們能有較佳的在校表現。

另外，專業技能的家教也很熱門。由於擔憂失業，上班族常找家教來幫他們將專業技能更上一層樓，或是發展第二專長。

關於家教的薪資，李大華說教年紀較長的學生有時報酬會比較高，因為教那些學生通常對教學品質和教材多樣性的要求也比較高。家教市場老師的稀有性，也是另一個影響的因素。

According to a recent survey by 1111 Job Bank, those who are interested in tutoring take up an average of 2.66 private tutor jobs a month, earning an extra NT$11492. As for the factors that attracted them to the profession, flexible hours topped the list, followed by an interest in teaching and higher pay.

Daniel Lee, a public relations director at 1111 Job Bank, points out that most private tutor jobs are still related to academic subjects. Parents often hire tutors to help their children strengthen their areas of weaknesses so they can perform better at school.

In addition, tutors for specialized skills are popular as well. Due to the fear of becoming unemployed, office workers often seek tutors to help them take their professional skills to new heights or develop expertise in another field.

In regard to tutors pay, Lee says teaching older students is sometimes more rewarding for they tend to be more demanding in terms of the quality of teaching and versatility of the learning materials. The availability of tutors in the market is another influential factor.
