"中華電信行動用戶增加中"

中華電信公告說行動用戶數今年跟去年同期相比成長了58.6%，在台灣的行動市場中佔了33.5%的市佔率。報導也指出中華電信「有最為廣泛的網路設備生產商覆蓋率」而且「是主要市場中最廣為採用的頻寬」。

該公司公告今年上半年的淨利有198.4億新台幣，達到整年預期的52.8%，前景看好。

根據中華電信的代表所說，中華電信的「極具競爭力的行動數據方案和中至低階智慧型手機的合約方案已經成功地拓展了用戶數到317萬人。」

中華電信承諾將繼續存有使用者的第二、三、四代網路連線，以確保他們未來也能使用，但正放眼未來的發展。

現在中華電信正在標4G的營運執照，那將能夠給他們帶來1,800兆赫茲的行動寬頻網路。他們也已經表示一旦台灣建立起長期演進技術（LTE）80%的覆蓋率，他們就會看好LTE網路語音電話（VoLTE）為一個新興科技選擇。

(Business) Chunghwa Telecom: Mobile Users On The Rise

Chunghwa Telecom reported a 58.6% year-on-year rise in mobile users, holding a 33.5% share in Taiwans mobile market. Reports also state that Chunghwa Telecom, has the most comprehensive coverage by networking equipment manufacturers and is the most widely adopted bandwidth among major markets.

The company reported a net income of NT$19.84 billion in the first half of the year, which is 52.8% of its expectation, and has a positive forecast for the future.

According to Chunghwa Telecom representatives, its competitive mobile data plan offerings and mid-to-low tier smartphone contract packages has successfully expanded its user base to 3.17 million subscribers.

The company stated that it will make a commitment to users second, third and fourth network generations to make sure they are supported in the future, but is looking at future developments.

Currently, Chunghwa Telecom is bidding for a 4G operating license, which would give them a 1,800 megahertz mobile broadband network. They have also stated that once Taiwan establishes 80% LTE coverage, they will look at voice-over-longterm-evolution (VoLTE) as an emerging technological option.
