"禁止紐西蘭牛乳的國家"

中俄是最近禁止紐西蘭的牛乳和乳製品的國家之一，因為恐於肉毒桿菌中毒。

乳製品龍頭的恆天然合作社集團有限公司為世上第四大的乳製品供應商，它表示：「測試在乳清蛋白濃縮物中找到可能造成肉毒桿菌中毒的細菌後，七個國家販售的上百噸嬰幼兒奶粉、運動飲品和其他產品可能遭受汙染。」傷害了紐西蘭作為安全食品供應商的名聲。

這消息可能會對紐西蘭的經濟造成極大損害，因為恆天然的年度收益有160億，而目前禁止它們家產品的中國自從2008年遭受國內毒牛乳醜聞以來，一直都是紐西蘭牛乳的最大進口商。因此，多數中國消費者一直在尋找於潔淨且安全的環境製造的嬰幼兒奶粉，即使支出會高上許多。

今年上半年，中國總計進口了371,000噸紐西蘭的奶粉。

根據紐西蘭總理約翰基伊所說，「無疑地」紐西蘭和恆天然現在面臨了受損的名譽，紐幣也因此下跌。現在越南、泰國、澳洲和紐西蘭都已經召回了產品。

(Local) Countries Ban New Zealand Milk

China and Russia are among countries that have recently banned milk and milk products from New Zealand due to a botulism scare.

Dairy giant Fonterra, the worlds fourth-largest dairy supplier, stated that, hundreds of tons of infant formula, sports drinks, and other products sold in seven countries could be tainted after tests found bacteria in whey protein concentrate that could cause botulism, damaging New Zealands reputation as a safe food supplier.

The news could be potentially devastating to New Zealands economy, as Fonterra has an annual revenue of about $16 billion dollars, and China, currently banning their products, has been the biggest importer of New Zealand milk since the country suffered its own tainted milk scandals in 2008. Most Chinese consumers have been seeking infant formula produced in clean, safe environments as a result, even if the cost is considerably higher.

Overall, China imported 371,000 tons of milk powder from New Zealand in the first half of this year alone.

According to Prime Minster John Key, there was no question that both New Zealand and Fonterra now face damaged reputations, with the New Zealand dollar dropping as a result. Currently, recalls have been set into effect in Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
