更新修正了部分Windows 8系統中發現的問題。

微軟數個月前推出Windows 8作業系統，分析師讚揚其前瞻性，並讚美微軟邁出如此大步遠離傳統形式。然而此系統有嚴重問題，讓它很難操作。微軟一直努力要修正這些錯誤，上週公開了更新版Windows 8.1的預覽版。

其中一項主要改變是「開始」鍵回歸桌面工作列。點擊它會出現Windows的「Modern UI介面」，即螢幕顯示應用程式動態磚的畫面。另一項大改變是連接到Windows新的「子母畫面功能」，讓使用者能同時閱覽不只一種應用程式。在Windows 8中可以同時看到兩種應用程式，但使用Windows 8.1則可看到八種，還可自行決定每個應用程式畫面的大小。

The update fixes some problems found in Windows 8.

When Microsoft introduced its Windows 8 operating system a few months ago, analysts praised its forward-thinking nature and complimented Microsoft in taking such a big step away from its traditional format. However, there were big problems with the system that made it a difficult format to work with. Microsoft has been working hard to correct those faults and it last week gave people a preview of the updated Windows 8.1.

One major change is that the Start button has returned to the desktop taskbar. Clicking on it will bring up Windows Modern UI, the screen showing tiles of apps. Another big alteration is connected to Windows new snap view, which allows users to view more than one app at the same time. On Windows 8, you could see two apps simultaneously, but with 8.1, you can see eight, and you can decide how big each app should be.

Snap view will automatically start in some situations. For example, if youre reading an email and click on a link to a website, the screen will instantly split into two, and explorer will open next to your email page.
