"四月較多的工作機會讓美國股價攀升"

雖然經濟學家已預測上個月會增加14.5萬工作機會，但四月份的實際數量竟是驚人的16.5萬。

失業率也是在過去四年來的最低點，為7.5%，而道瓊指數衝破一萬五千點，為歷史首次。

根據西聯公司的市場分析家喬瑪寧波，數字「驚人的好」，而且「顯示就業市場以及整體經濟情況恢復得比投資人所擔心的好許多。」

雖然大多人將此視為正面趨勢，還是有很多人持懷疑態度。皇家銀行資本市場的美國經濟學家湯姆普塞利認為：「這份報告證實了勞工市場背景仍然很不平均。」且認為數據是參差不齊的結果。他也補充：「有幾件事能解釋這些，也就是平均週所得減少以及總工作時數。這些是比較正向的度量，還有數據在第四季將如何呈現而不令人洩氣。」

(Business) Strong Job Creation in April Causes US Stock Surge

Although economists had predicted that there would be 145,000 jobs created last month, the actual figures were a surprising 165,000 for April.

Unemployment is also at its lowest level in the past 4 years, at 7.5 %, and the Dow Jones index jumped above the 15,000 level for the first time in history as a result.

According to Joe Manimbo, a market analyst at Western Union Business Solutions, the numbers were surprisingly positive, and, ...shows the job market and the economy in general appear to be more resilient than investors had feared.

Although most see this as a positive trend, many are still skeptical. Tom Porcelli, US economist at RBC Capital Markets, feels that, This report confirms that the labour market backdrop remains very much uneven, and sees the figures as having a mixed-bag outcome. He also added, A couple of things drive this home, namely average weekly earnings are down and aggregate hours. Those are more forward looking metrics and how it will unfold in the fourth quarter that is not encouraging.
