卡莉瑞吉普森拿下2012年最暢銷單曲。

英國歌手愛黛兒這幾個月過得很不錯。除了拿下金球獎、葛萊美獎和奧斯卡獎，這位明星還被告知她拿下2012年最佳銷售專輯。她的第二張專輯《21》去年賣出830萬張。足足比銷售第二好的泰勒絲《紅色》專輯多出300萬張。一世代以《青春無敵》和《青春滿屋》拿下第三和第四名，拉娜德芮的《生死相守》則拿下第五名。

單曲方面，卡莉瑞吉普森以《有空打給我》稱霸2012排行榜。這首歌去年賣出1250萬張，以70萬張的差距打敗高提耶的《熟悉的陌生人》。第三和第四名則由Psy的《江南風格》和歡樂樂團的《We Are Young》拿下。

整體上，對音樂產業來說今年還算不錯，因為全球專輯銷售量從1999年以來第一次上升了。雖然只增加了百分之0.3，但分析家表示這還是相當重要。音樂一週的保羅威廉斯表示：「這凸顯了音樂產業投入的努力，而成果就是在現今的數位化時代重塑自己。」

UK singer Adele is having a great few months. After winning a Golden Globe, Grammy, and Oscar, the star has also been told that she had the worlds biggest selling album in 2012. Her second release, 21, sold 8.3 million copies last year. Thats over 3 million more than the second-placed album, Taylor Swifts Red. One Direction took both third and fourth places with Up All Night and Take Me Home, and Lana Del Reys Born to Die was fifth.

In terms of singles, Carly Rae Jepsen topped the 2012 charts with Call Me Maybe. The song sold 12.5 million copies last year, beating Gotyes Somebody That I used To Know by 700,000 sales. The third and fourth places were taken by Psy with Gangnam Style and Fun with We Are Young.

Overall, it was a good year for the music industry, as worldwide record sales were up for the first time since 1999. The increase might have only been 0.3%, but analysts are saying its still important. Paul Williams from Music Week said: It underlines the efforts the music industry has been putting in and the results its now getting in reinventing itself in the digital era.
