忙了一夜的國際友誼賽，這對亞洲對手取得非常不同的結果。

2月6日對國際足球賽來說是個大日子，世界各地的國家彼此進行友誼賽。這一晚幾家歡樂幾家愁，亞洲隊伍中的日本由岡崎和本田拿分，輕而易舉就以3比0在神戶擊敗了拉脫維亞。但是韓國卻在倫敦克拉文球場的一場比賽中以4比0被克羅埃西亞痛宰。

當晚最大的驚喜是英國23年來首次在溫布利球場擊敗巴西。對主場隊來說這是很棒的一晚，因為左後衛阿什利．科爾出戰這第100場國際賽事，而年輕新星傑克威爾希爾傷癒歸隊後踢出一場絕佳的比賽。這場比賽以2比1結束，由韋恩魯尼和法蘭克蘭帕德為英國拿分，並由弗列德防守南美隊的球門。

(Sport) Mixed Fortunes in Soccer for South Korea and Japan

On a busy night of international friendlies, the Asian rivals got very different results.

February 6 was a big night of international soccer, with friendlies played across the world. It was a mixed night for Asian teams as Japan easily beat Latvia 3-0 in Kobe thanks to goals from Okazaki and Honda. However, South Korea were hammered 4-0 by Croatia in a game played at Craven Cottage in London.

The biggest surprise of the night came at Wembley as England beat Brazil for the first time in 23 years. It was a great evening for the home side as left back Ashley Cole played his 100th international game and young star Jack Wilshere had a great game after returning from injury. The game finished 2-1, with Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard scoring for England and Fred grabbing the South Americans goal.

In other matches, world and European champions Spain had no problems beating Uruguay 3-1, with goals coming from Cesc Fabregas and Pedro. In Amsterdam, Italy snatched a late goal to secure a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, and in Paris, Germany scored two second-half goals to beat France 2-1.
