The picturesque UK region is home to some wonderful pubs and restaurants.

Englands Peak District is a beautiful area, filled with amazing scenery, wonderful cave networks, and a large number of glorious hikes. People who go there also discover that it has some of the worlds finest cafes and pubs. Probably the most famous of the regions delicacies is the Bakewell Pudding, which has a layer of jelly and almond and egg cream in a pie case. The best place to get one is The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop in Bakewell.

The best local ales can be found at many of the Peak Districts traditional pubs, and one of the finest is The Devonshire Arms in Beeley. The building looks as though its come straight out of a period drama, and visitors will enjoy the low-beamed ceilings, working fireplace, and tasty menu.

Some of the best food spots are the George Hotel in Hathersage and The Miners Arms in Eyam. At the George, diners can choose between wholesome English fare such as smoked salmon and pork wrapped in ham. At the Miners, you can try classic dishes such as fish and chips. Its the perfect way to fill up after a good hike.
