"亡靈節"

亡靈節（也被稱作死人節）是一個墨西哥節日，在墨西哥全國和世界各地都有人慶祝。這聽來可能很像殘忍版的萬聖節，而且，對和這個節日不熟悉的人而言，感覺確實有點可怖，但其實不然。

Day of the Dead (known as Dia de Los Muentos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world. It may sound like a ghoulish version of Halloween, and, indeed, to someone unfamiliar with the holiday itself, may even appear a bit morbid, but that is not the case.

Day of the Dead is a family holiday meant to focus on family gatherings and the remembrance of relatives and friends who have died. In Mexico, it is a national holiday celebrated every year on November 1st and 2nd. The first day is for honoring children and infants, and the second for honoring adults.Rather than a time of sadness and grief, it is a festive and lively celebration that involves games, music, merriment, and the telling of humorous anecdotes about the person's life.

People prepare candies and sweets (often with elaborately decorated skull themes), toys for children, liquor, candles for light, and breads to share with their loved ones.They spend the night in graveyards alongside the grave of the person they are honoring, with the idea being that the spirit of the deceased will visit at this time and hear the comments of the living and be reminded they have not been forgotten. People often rest on blankets or pillows near the graves, and join in celebrating the life (rather than remembering the loss) of those they miss.
