緬甸幾位重要改革者職位已晉升，其中女性比以往更多。

(Politics) Myanmar President Reorganizes His Government

Important reformers have been promoted and there are more women than ever before.

Myanmar President Thein Sein has announced some changes to his cabinet that put reformers into more important positions.The reorganization has been expected for several months, and it is hoped it will speed up the process of reforms in the country. Industry Minister Soe Thein, Minister of National Planning and Economic Development Tin Naing Thein, and Minister of Rail Transportation Aung Min were all given positions in the presidential office.

Thein has made huge changes to the country in recent years. Not only have elections been made freer and fairer, but the president has also ended years of media control and censorship. He has also freed 650 political prisoners and opened up the country to foreign investment.International analysts are now confident that Myanmars years of military rule are now firmly a thing of the past.

An unnamed member of the presidents advisory board said the cabinet changes were designed to make the government more active and vibrant. The advisor added that Thein is just sending the right men to the right places.The moves dont just affect men, though, as there are now many more women in the government.
