Banderas, 51, dislikes plastic surgery and has been married to Melanie Griffith for 17 years. Banderas likes to stay out of trouble and loves working as an actor. Banderas played Tom Hanks partner in Philadelphia in 1993 and was paid $5 million in The Mask of Zorro.

Banderas has a home in Aspen and Los Angeles but likes his home in Los Angeles the best. He hates flying and is a very religious man. In his latest film, The Skin I Live In he plays a plastic surgeon who does surgery on people even if they do not want the treatment. The character he plays is a monster with no feelings and no respect or love for other people.

Banderas has never had plastic surgery and says that he likes his grey hair and wrinkles even if the doctors in Los Angeles say they can make him young again. Melanie and Antonio met on the set of Two Much in 1995. They fell in love instantly and were married a year later. Melanie has had a problem with drugs and alcohol but Antonio has supported her and now the whole family (including the three children) attend therapy sessions together.
