"海南購物退稅拚觀光"

海南省為了提升觀光收益，從2012年元旦起，正式實施境外旅客購物離境退稅。就連鴻海集團董事長郭台銘也看好海南的電子商城以及物流等業務的商機，打算進軍海南。

離境退稅適用於在中國境內連續居住不超過183天的外國人和港澳台人士，離境退稅的起退點暫定為800元人民幣，退稅率統一為11%。境外旅客再辦理退稅時可自行選擇現金退稅或銀行轉帳退稅，以及自行選擇人民幣或另一種自由流通的主要外幣。

其中退稅物品包括服裝、鞋帽、化妝品、鐘錶、首飾、電器、文具、體育用品、醫療器材、傢俱等等，而食品、飲料、水果、菸、酒、汽車、摩托車等等則無法享受退稅。

In order to increase tourism earnings, starting from January 1st, 2012, Hainan Province will start implementing tax refunds for all foreign travelers when they depart. Even the Chairman of Hon Hai Group Terry Guo is optimistic about the business opportunities in Hainans electronic malls and logistics businesses, and plans to enter Hainan.

The departure tax refunds are applicable to foreigners and travelers from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, who have not stayed in China for over 183 days. The starting point for the tax refunds is now set temporarily at NTD800 and the tax refund rate is 11%. When overseas travelers apply for tax refunds, they can choose to receive the money in cash or through ATM transfer, and they can also choose to get it in RMB or another major foreign currency.

Items eligible for tax refunds include clothing, footwear, hats, cosmetics, watches, jewelry, electronic devices, stationery, sporting goods, medical equipment and furniture, etc. However, travelers cannot receive tax refunds for food, beverages, fruit, tobacco, alcohol, automobiles, and motorcycles, etc.
