重要通知! 考量國內疫情變化 文化部宣布2021台北國際書展「以線上書展續辦」

經過主辦單位文化部密集的討論、評估之後,由於考量近期疫情的變化,必須在共同防疫及回應廣大讀者及出版產業的期待之間有所選擇!

因應國內疫情變化,中央流行疫情指揮中心昨(19)日提醒集會活動主辦單位應妥為評估該活動舉辦之必要性及相關風險程度。文化部在與台北書展基金會經過充分研商、討論後,今(20)日忍痛宣布,2021台北國際書展線上書展及出版專業論壇「持續辦理」,實體書展「停辦」。
書展基金會表示,書展基金會及所有的出版社都已投入許多資源籌辦書展,同時也規劃相當嚴謹的防疫措施,在國際疫情嚴峻的此時,若能舉辦全球第一的書展,將證明臺灣是世界的防疫典範,也是臺灣無比的榮耀,因此,書展基金會期盼繼續辦理。
但針對國內近期疫情變化,文化部表示,經審慎風險評估後,文化部與書展基金會雖已訂定嚴謹防疫計畫,包含實施容留、實聯制、落實全程佩戴口罩、加強消毒、減少互動展示等措施,但考量參展人數過多且展覽會場過大,參展人員於展位間流動位置無法固定,確實難以確保參觀者之間的距離、於場內的足跡,以及停留時間等因素。
因此,文化部在與書展基金會經過密切及充分的研商後,文化部雖然明白書展基金會的立場與準備,仍決定2021台北國際實體書展「停辦」,線上書展及出版專業論壇「持續辦理」
文化部說明,文化部將與台北書展基金會組成專案小組,保障所有民眾及參展單位權益,包含預購門票的全額退票,以及參展廠商展位費退費、籌辦費補償等,將於3日內公告相關辦法。文化部強調,將與所有出版業者攜手,持續規劃各項閱讀推廣方案,維持臺灣閱讀能量。
