自小從事水稻栽培至今四五十年，早期因為追求產量，所以在栽培上都是以化學肥料及農藥來提生產量及防治病蟲害，並在100年時加入桃園市新屋區農會稻米產銷契作集團產區契作行列，栽種產銷履歷稻米，至此接觸到農產品生產溯源的概念，並在103年加入新屋區稻米產銷班第七班正式開始進入有機水稻的生產，106年度第一次參加臺灣稻米達人冠軍賽有機米組鄉鎮賽，僅榮獲入圍，107年度從水稻育苗、插秧到後期生產栽培、病蟲害防治等，均透過產銷班集團生產作業規範及改良場、農會的技術輔導，終於在鄉鎮賽中榮獲冠軍，更一舉在全國賽中榮獲有機米組亞軍。
產量與品質無法兼得，是這次比賽最大的體會與收穫，這次雖然僅榮獲亞軍
也代表著明年有進步的空間，也期待108年能夠更上層樓。
