鉸接式自卸卡車長期處於被國外公司所壟斷的局面。該款特種礦山卡車的出現不僅填補了我國在特種礦卡這一產品領域的空白，並且直接進軍鉸接式自卸卡車高端市場，與全球知名品牌富豪、卡特彼勒、鬥山等並駕齊驅。

DEA60鉸接式特種礦山卡車全球首創採用交直交電傳動技術，以最大60噸電傳動鉸卡為切入點，6輪牽引電機獨立控制，可實現6×N(N=2～6)驅動方式切換。符合人機工程學駕駛室，駕駛舒適安全。配備自動潤滑系統及車輛檢測系統等設備，維護簡單方便。傳統的卡車在外觀設計上稍顯笨重，通常注重了外觀就會忽略安全性，而鉸接式卡車的設計，不但顛覆了傳統的卡車外觀設計更兼顧了細節上的安全性設計，同時擁有人性化的合理操作。

該款礦山鉸卡於2012年底的上海寶馬展一經亮相就引起了業內的轟動，獲得了普遍好評。具有徐工特色的一體式前臉造型設計和從頭到尾的優雅沉穩曲線設計，不但強調出了整車的動感而且帶給觀者強烈的視覺衝擊。打破了過去行業內設備功能性設計的缺陷，採用外覆蓋面整體統一設計，利用幾何形的塊面分割將必要的功能性零部件整合在統一的體積內。
