梁子湖國家生態展示館位於湖北省梁子湖島中心區域，橢圓的外型就如同是落在梁子湖度假休閒區中的一顆明珠；同時展示館獨特的外立面及與環境友善的綠色設計也讓展示館被列為是世界湖泊大會（World Lake Conference）的永久會場。
負責設計展示館建築及室內設計的上海都設以展示館週遭富豐的自然濕地景觀做為靈感來源，試圖呈現出一種「大珠小珠落玉盤」的設計概念。展示館的設計為兩層樓的橢圓型建築，並以一開放水域的庭院做為建築的中心。遊客在進入入口大廳後迎面而來的是中心水院瀑布的美景，並可由入口大廳兩側繞著中心水院而到達兩個主展廳。事務所並在主廳外二側處設計了湖景展廊，漫步其中便可一覽梁子湖的美景。同時事務所也以另一概念「漫遊式的室外通道」讓遊客可自廣場入口直接走到外部花園，在欣賞完湖景後再進入第二層室內繼續參觀，創造出遊走於室內外串連步道中的豐富空間體驗。
在中國傳統的「大珠小珠落玉盤」詩意中，事務所取其珍珠晶瑩剔透的形象，配以彩釉玻璃、超白玻璃及石材掛板為主要建材，並結合生態節能幕牆設計打造出一個光潔純淨又具環保低耗能的新型展示館。在如此的設計概念下，事務所創造出優雅具高貴感的外立面，而展示館頂部半透明的白色玻璃帷幕牆在夜晚時燈光的照射下勾勒出整體建築的輪廓，預計在2016年落成後將成為這城市中最美的地標建築。

National Water Ecology Expo in Liangzi Lake／Shanghai Dushe
The National Water Ecology Expo in Liangzi lake, the crown jewel in Liangzi lakeside resort, is located in the center of the Liangzi lake island，Hubei Province. The exhibition centre, an environment-friendly and impressive building, is positioned as the permanent site of a World Lake Conference.
Shanghai Dushe Design is in charge of the architectural design and interior design of the exhibition centre. The design inspiration, "pearls falling into a jade plate", is taken from the surrounding rich natural wetland landscape. The exhibition is designed in a two-floor circular building shape, focusing in a open-water courtyard as the center of the building. Visitors can see the beauty of the water-courtyard's waterfall after entering into the entrance lobby. The path continues crossing the water courtyard by its two sides to get to the two main exhibition halls. Then, we can go across the gallery to the outside garden. Following this north-south axes we can enjoy the beauty of Liangzi lake.
The second concept is "Nomadic Outdoor Path". As it was desirable to make people walk around the building.
The entrance of the platform on the second floor is directly connected to the first floor via a ground-floor circle-shaped pedestrian. Visitors could continue their journey to arrive to a platform where they enjoy the views of the lake. Interior and exterior are integrated by the circulation, which generates a diversity of spatial experiences.
The exhibition is modeling via the ancient poetry, "pearls falling into a jade plate". In that case, its designing image is from the pearl's crystal appearance, using colored glazing glasses, Ultra-white glasses and stone wall plates as the main materials. However, combining with the ecological energy-saving curtain wall, it is created a bright and clean atmosphere, but also energy-efficient exhibition hall. As a result, the resultant form will be clear and elegant. With the translucent white glass curtain wall on the top, the it will be the city's landmark after the light outline the view of the whole building.
