(中央社訊息服務20141227 17:04:43)A book written in Vietnamese about Mandarine and Vietnamese learning has recently published by the Center for Vietnamese Studies at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), southern Taiwan, to benefit the Vietnamese immigrants in Taiwan.
The new book, HIỆU QUẢ CỦA VIỆC HỌC CHỮ HAN VA CHỮ QUỐC NGỮ, is written by NCKU professor Wi-vun Taiffalo Chiung.
The Center for Vietnamese Studies has arranged a book launching ceremony on December 23 at the second floor of Hsiu-Chi Building, Kuang-Fu Campus, NCKU.
In the ceremony, the new books are also donated to National Immigration Agency and the Immigrant Center for Learning.
A Comparative analysis among Vietnamese, Taiwanese, and Mandarin has includes in the book. While this book is useful to anyone, it can be especially helpful to learners of the target languages, according to Chiung.
Vietnamese teaching is growing popular in Taiwan. The potential Vietnamese teachers are recommended to read this book, Chiung said.
NCKU Center for Vietnamese Studies gives copies to school libraries for free. Please contact the center before January 23, 2015.
