國立臺北大學校長遴選委員會於103年12月3日上午召開第一次遴選委員會會議，委員們除寄望透過完整且嚴謹的遴選程序，為臺北大學遴選出帶領學校邁向一流大學的新任校長，也於會中選出中央研究院院士王惠鈞委員擔任召集人、國立中央大學校長周景揚委員擔任發言人。

National Taipei University President Search
National Taipei University has officially begun its search for its next President. The University has formed a 15-member search committee tasked with finding the successor for its current President, Professor Fu-Jiing Shiue, whose term ends on July 31, 2015. The next President will assume the 6th term of the University’s presidency from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2019.
The search committee members elected Dr. Andrew H. J. Wang, an Academician of Academia Sinica, as their Chair, and Professor Jing-Yang Jou, the President of National Central University, as their Spokesperson, in the first committee meeting held on December 3, 2014. The committee is seeking a distinguished academic leader, who can promote National Taipei University to become a world-renowned university, through a thorough and confidential search process.

The committee welcomes nominations from all interested individuals as well as the alumni associations of National Taipei University. The deadline for nomination is January 30, 2015.
