"陽岱鋼4億日圓續約"

效力於北海道日本火腿的我國棒球好手陽岱鋼，於12月初以兩年4億日圓（新台幣1億1515萬元）與球團續約。而在續約典禮中陽岱鋼也許下弘願，希望在明年球季能以安打王為目標。

陽岱鋼在過去這兩年的健康情況十分良好，不但連續兩個球季全勤外，也曾代表台灣參加過世界棒球經典賽。而今年他的球技更上一層樓。不但拿到日本火腿隊史上第一位盜壘王頭銜，這兩年還連續拿下金手套獎，也獲選為札幌巨蛋年度MVP。

陽岱鋼今年的年薪為9200萬日圓，這次球團十分給力，不但提供兩年合約，更以超過兩倍的薪資期許他在未來更上一層樓。在台灣的球迷們也期待陽岱鋼能繼續在日本為台灣爭光。

(Sport) Dai-Kang Yang Extends Fighters Contract for 400 Million Yen

Taiwans star baseball player Dai-Kang Yang, who currently plays for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, extended his contract with the team by two years for 400 million yen (equivalent of NT$115.15 million) at the beginning of December. At the contract signing ceremony, Yang vowed to aim for the title of King of Base Hits next season.

Yang has maintained good health in the past two years. He not only did not miss one game in the last two seasons, but also represented Taiwan in the World Baseball Classic. Moreover, Yang has managed to take his baseball skills up a notch this year. He not only claimed the title of Top Stolen Base Leader, being the first player ever from the Fighters to do so, but also won the Golden Glove Award for the second consecutive year, and was crowned Sapporo Dome MVP.

Compared to Yangs salary of 92 million yen this year, the Fighters were exceedingly generous this time around, offering him a contract extension of two years, as well as an over 200% pay raise, in the hope that he will continue to make strides. Yangs fans in Taiwan are also hoping that he can continue to make Taiwan proud in Japan.
