"CNN賞識台灣的「貓村」"

台灣的「貓村」最近登上CNN景點名單。

侯硐是位於新北市的河邊小鎮，獲CNN命名為世上其中一個「貓咪比風景還亮眼之地」。暱稱「貓村」的侯硐，近年來由於其大量的「貓口」而竄升為熱門景點。週末時段，遊客通常會湧進侯硐為120隻左右的逗趣貓咪拍照，那些貓咪通常是慵懶且享受成為焦點地度過一天。

為了促進當地觀光，新北市政府打造了友愛貓咪的天橋，來促進愛貓人和「毛住民」的互動。根據新北市觀光旅遊局指出，自從天橋於三月開放後，造訪侯硐的遊客成長了30%。

景點被貓咪搶走光彩的其他地方有日本的貓島：田代島和藍島、羅馬的貓咪遺址、和土耳其蔚藍海岸的卡爾坎度假小鎮。

(Travel) CNN Acknowledges Taiwans Cat Village

Taiwans Cat Village has recently made it to CNNs list of attractions.

Houtong, a riverside town in New Taipei City, has been named by CNN as one of the places in the world where cats outshine tourist attractions. Nicknamed Cat Village, Houtong has risen in popularity in recent years on account of its large cat population. On weekends, visitors often flock to the place to take pictures of the 120 or so playful cats, who spend the day lazing around and enjoying being the center of attention.

In a bid to boost local tourism, a cat-friendly overpass has been built by the New Taipei City Government to facilitate interaction between cat-lovers and the furry residents. According to the citys Tourism and Travel Department, the number of visitors to Houtong has grown 30 percent since the overpass was opened to the public in March.

Other places where tourist attractions have had their thunder stolen by cats include Japans cat islands V Tashirojima and Ainoshima, Romes kitty ruins, and the Kalkan Kats resort on Turkeys Turquoise Coast.
