日劇《半澤直樹》最近開始在台灣播映，第一天收視率獲0.94。根據媒體報導指出，這部劇集甚至打敗了《家政婦三田》的紀錄，《家》劇2011年在台灣也曾獲得極大成功。這部十集的劇早先在日本播出時，獲得30年來最高的收視率，最後一集吸引了驚人的42.2%觀眾比率。

這部連續劇如此廣受歡迎的主因是它引人入勝的劇情。這部金融劇講述了半澤直樹的故事，他是一名面臨了數個障礙的借貸經理人，像是在公司內往上爬的時候，被陷害成讓公司損失五億的代罪羔羊。半澤直樹不怕挑戰比自己位高權重的人，並在當他覺得受到不當對待時，報復回去，這讓許多上班族能夠感同身受。

(Entertainment) Hanzawa Naoki Receives Overwhelming Response in Taiwan

Following its astounding success in Japan, the drama has gone on to capture the attention of hundreds of thousands of Taiwanese viewers.

Japanese drama Hanzawa Naoki recently started airing in Taiwan, scoring a 0.94 rating on its first day. According to the media, the TV series even beat the record of Kaseifu no Mita, which was also a hit in Taiwan back in 2011. When the 10 episode series was aired in Japan earlier, it scored the highest ratings in 30 years, with the final show drawing a whopping 42.2 percent audience share.

The main reason why the series has attracted such wide interest is its intriguing plot. The banking drama follows the story of Hanzawa Naoki, a loan manager who encounters numerous obstacles, including being made the scapegoat for the 500 million loss of his company, while climbing the corporate ladder. The fact that Naoki is not afraid to challenge his superiors and retaliate when he feels wronged has allowed many office workers to empathize with him.

Amidst the dramas success, it has been rumored that a Hong Kong adaptation of it may be produced by TVB, with the lead role being played by either Julian Cheung or Kevin Cheng.
