Technology keeps on advancing in new and interesting ways, and its difficult to predict what the next innovation will be or where it will take us. Unmanned aircraft, or drones, have been used for years by various militaries around the world. Theyre generally used to spy on enemies or drop bombs, but it seems that they can have a far more peaceful use, like delivering pizza.

As crazy as it may sound, the company in charge of the UK franchises of the Dominos pizza chain has produced a drone capable of delivering pizza to customers. Called the DomiCopter, the machine has appeared in an Internet video delivering pizza, and the reaction has been huge.

Reports claim that Dominos outlets have received thousands of calls from people asking about the craft, but experts say that you shouldnt expect to see one in the skies anytime soon. Digital media company T and Biscuits, which was partly responsible for making the DomiCopter, said on its website that anyone wanting for one of the machines to turn up at their front door will have to just wait and see...and then wait
