"世界旅遊獎中東盛會"

世界旅遊獎今年慶祝20周年，該協會以將旅遊業的傑出產品及服務突破極限而著名。

這金光閃閃的盛會常被稱為「旅遊業的奧斯卡獎」，參與的人有執行總裁、觀光局長、政府官員，以及頂尖的內行旅人，而中東為2013世界旅遊獎的起點。

中東的最佳航空公司頒給阿提哈德航空。他們也贏得中東最佳頭等艙和中東最佳空服員。

阿聯酋航空也獲得中東最佳商務艙、最佳航空獎項計劃和最佳航空網站等獎項。

阿布達比持續邁向熱門觀光景點，當它獲得許多頂級榮譽時也受到認可，包括阿布達比國家展覽中心獲得中東最佳會展中心、阿布達比觀光與文化局獲選為中東最佳觀光局，還有薩迪亞特海灘被評選為中東最佳海灘觀光景點。

最佳飯店獎頒給卡達爾W飯店、卡達爾La Cigale飯店、Six Senses Zighy Bay Oman with Al Faisaliah飯店、沙烏地阿拉伯A Rosewood飯店，以及沙烏地阿拉伯Rosewood Corniche飯店。

(Travel) World Travel Awards Middle East Gala Event

World Travel Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and is famous for pushing the boundaries of industry excellence in products and services.

The glittering gala event, often referred to as, The Oscars of the travel industry, was attended by chief executives, tourist board chiefs, government ministers, and an upper echelon of travel insiders, and the Middle East marked the start of World Travel Awards 2013 Grand Tour.

The award for Middle Easts Leading Airline went to Etihad Airways. It also won awards for Middle Easts Leading Airline First Class and Middle Easts Leading Cabin Crew.

Emirates also received awards claiming titles as Middle Easts Leading Airline Business Class, Middle Easts Leading Airline Awards Programme, and Middle Easts Leading Airline Website.

Abu Dhabis continuing rise as a tourism destination also received recognition as the destination took home many of the top honors including Middle Easts Leading Exhibition Convention Centre for Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Middle Easts Leading Tourism Board for Abu Dhabis Tourism and Culture Authority, and Middle Easts Leading Beach Destination for Saadiyat Beach.

Top hotel awards went to W Hotel Residences Qatar, La Cigale Qatar, Six Senses Zighy Bay Oman with Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel Saudi Arabia and Rosewood Corniche Saudi Arabia.
