Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant led the way for the Los Angeles Lakers as they came from 14 points down in the fourth quarter to beat the Golden State Warriors 118-115 in Oakland, California on December 22. Bryant finished with 34 points and ten rebounds, and Nash hit 12 points and nine assists in his first game back from injury.

Nash, who is now 38, picked up an injury in the Lakers second game of the season and has sat out for almost two months. Any fears that he might be a little off-form were soon dispelled as the Canadian playmaker quickly got into his stride. To play 40 minutes after seven weeks was more than I could ask for, he said after the game. I felt in a decent rhythm. I feel positive about it.

Bryant is also happy to the point guard back on the court. Asked about how it felt to play with Nash, he said: Its easy. Its very easy. Its beyond easy. He added: You put two guys together who can do opposite things and it fits extremely well. When I get a rebound, I look to get the ball in his hands because I know I will be getting an easy shot.
