Danny Granger started this season an injury to his left knee that has gone from bad to worse.

The Indiana Pacers small forward has missed three games already and is likely to miss another 50 more. Although his injury began in college, it hadnt impacted his NBA career before now. The injury, commonly known as jumpers knee, started to bother Granger in off-season workouts, and in September he underwent blood-platelet treatment.

The Pacers suffer a serious loss without him V as Granger was the teams leading point scorer last year with an average of 18.7 points. Frank Vogel, Pacers coach, was quoted as saying, We still have a heck of a basketball team even with Danny out, and well miss him.
